OS limits for commands and arguments
in POSIX standard
There is a POSIX standard specific limitation called LINE_MAX and ARG_MAX.
First is the maximum command line length a POSIX compatible OS needs to support.
Second ist the maximum number of arguments.

Snow Falls Over The Trees
... Christmas is almost at hand
Ok. A little premature, isn't it? Well, the supermarkets don't think so.
I don't like to see chocolate Santas and gingerbread in supermarkets during the last days of September. It should be soon enough to sell and buy the stuff in the middle of November.
But it is really nice to see the snow falling outside...
And so you don't think I'm not at work... I'm looking forward to the software build environment, we plan to introduce in the new year. We've just specified the last requirements for hardware needed to be bought and setup after Christmas. ;-)
