Just a short update...

... after an exhausting ski day

Well, today I've been skiing. Great snow and sunny.
I've to do more training during the week again to be fit for top skiing.
I'm really tired now. But time flies. And I've started to study maths in spare time and so there are some priorities ;-(

Trichotomie-, Transitivitäts- und Monotoniegesetz

... Erinnerungsspicker

  1. Trichotomiegesetz: Für je zwei reelle Zahlen a, b gilt genau eine der drei Beziehungen: a < b oder a = b oder a > b.
  2. Transitivitätsgesetz: Ist a < b und b < c, so folgt a < c.
  3. Monotoniegesetze: Ist a < b, so gilt a + c < b + c für alle c ∈ R,
und es gilt ac < bc für alle c > 0.

Definition: Ein Körper K, der die drei Axiome erfüllt, wird ein angeordneter Körper genannt.

Kommutativ-, Assoziativ- und Distributivgesetz

... Erinnerungsspicker

  1. Kommutativgesetze: Es gilt a + b = b + a
    und a · b = b · a für alle a, b ∈ R.
  2. Assoziativgesetze: Es gilt a + (b + c) = (a + b) + c
    und a · (b · c) = (a · b) · c für alle a, b, c ∈ R.
  3. Distributivgesetz: Es gilt a · (b + c) = a · b + a · c für alle a, b, c ∈ R.

Google waved...

I am.

This morning I've got an invitation to Google Wave.
I have not tried to communicate through waves right now.
Had only a fast view of public waves. This is some kind of open discussion with images and videos possible. The public waves are big and so the JavaScript seems to be some performance limitation. Public waves have been slow.

Yipiiih - first successful deployment

... with new Latte2 build environment

An hour ago I've got our new Latte2 build environment to successful deploy the first application.
This has been a long way and there is still some work to be done next week.
But now I think it'll become a full success.

The Deadline: A Novel About Project Management

Der Termin. Ein Roman über Projektmanagement

At work I'll visit soon a seminar about process management. It will be some kind of introduction to processes. The homework for the participants is to read the book "The Deadline" by Tom DeMarco.
The story is about a Mr. Tompkin who looses first its job in a funny, exciting way to awake in a new place with a new challenging job option.
He'll be some kind of super manager with possibilities in project management research every manager would love to have.
The first chapters are amusing and interesting up to now. They've been in the style of a thriller. I'm curious about how the story continues and what the parallels to reality will be.
