At work I'll visit soon a seminar about process management. It will be some kind of introduction to processes. The homework for the participants is to read the book "The Deadline" by Tom DeMarco.
The story is about a Mr. Tompkin who looses first its job in a funny, exciting way to awake in a new place with a new challenging job option.
He'll be some kind of super manager with possibilities in project management research every manager would love to have.
The first chapters are amusing and interesting up to now. They've been in the style of a thriller. I'm curious about how the story continues and what the parallels to reality will be.
